A mother stops at nothing to recover her kidnapped son. In the US, a child goes missing every 40 seconds. You never think it will happen to you. Until it does. Alone and scared, Karla Dyson (Halle Berry) is unwilling to leave the fate of her son's life in someone else's hands. When she catches a glimpse of the abductors speeding away, she decides to fight back. In a heart pounding race against time, Karla begins a high speed pursuit and will stop at nothing to save her son's life. I've watched a lot of movies and have grown accustomed to being a little on the disappointed side. This surprised me. Of course, there were a couple of holes in it … especially with the dog at the water. I expected her to have to fight him off. Suffice to say, I was pleasantly entertained. Throughout the movie I kept asking myself, "what would I do?" What? Would I stop when they threatened to harm him? I was talking to her … "good move, good idea"… The movie kept me totally involved and I couldn't help but wonder whether the ones that said it wasn't a good movie had even watched the movie. I thought it was very well done. I had high hopes for this film. I could hardly wait until I could watch it online. Even for free this film was a complete waste of time. I gave it until the 40 minute mark (after she exits the tunnel with the woman – still able to walk – walking behind her and the blue car in front of her). I should have turned it off after the motorcycle cop went down on the grass and no back up ever arrived.<br/><br/>As other reviewers have already stated, this movie is just plain dumb. It's contrived that she just happens to conveniently drop her phone so she couldn't call for help. It's contrived that with all the news flashes going around and after having already been signaled by the motorcycle cop to pull over, that no other policeman in the state of LA is after her. It's contrived that they just happen to pull over a red minivan and it's not hers. It's contrived that the motorcycle cop whose bike went down on the grass is 100% incapacitated, to the point that he can't even call for backup, yet the woman Halle Berry threw out of her minivan while driving through the tunnel is able to get up and keep walking towards her. It's contrived that Berry has one total brain freeze after another. The whole movie – all 40 minutes that I watched – is contrived. It could have been a real thriller. Instead, it was just a real bummer. Just watch the trailer instead. That's really the best part of this whole film. It’s a dopey but pulse-pounding B-movie.
